this weekend's 50 cent beer

Mr. McDonell and I have begun buying weird off-brand beer that looks like products you would see on an episode of the Simpsons. We're aiming for 50 cents a can or less. This new series is dedicated to our good friend Basford who has long been known for drinking Bavaria, affectionately dubbed "hooneken". Meet Gluek Honey Bock. It looks like a can of root beer. I can't wait to try the golden pilsner.
